Presentation by Shahra Razavi: "The Three Global Equity Reports: What They Say (and Don't Say) About Gender Equality"
The UNRISD report, Gender Equality: Striving for Justice in an Unequal World, was published in March 2005, coinciding with the ten-year anniversary of the Beijing Conference. The report drew on UNRISD’s in-house research as well as 60 or so background papers that were specifically commissioned for the report.
Rather than providing a summary of the contents of the UNRISD report, at this event Sharha Razavi spoke about how the UNRISD report speaks to the other three reports on equity.
