Former UNRISD Board Member Appointed Chairperson of Forum on Minority Issues

Former UNRISD board member Gita Sen has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Forum on Minority Issues (FMI) by the President of the Human Rights Council, on 23 September.

According to the President's letter of appointment, Sen's "substantial expertise on economics will be relevant for this year's FMI session on Minorities and Effective Participation in Economic Life", which will be held from 14 to 15 December in Geneva’s Palais des Nations.
