Mairon Bastos Lima

Mairon Bastos Lima collaborated with UNRISD on the project Social Dimensions of Green Economy and Sustainable Development (2011-2012). For the project he spoke at the UNRISD conference on the issue held in October 2011 and authored the occasional paper "An Institutional Analysis of Biofuel Policies and their Social Implications: Lessons from Brazil, India and Indonesia" (2012, No. 9).
At the time of his collaboration with UNRISD, he was a PhD student at the Institute for Environmental Studies, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focused on the institutional, social and political dimensions of (rural) development policies based on biofuels production.
