Peadar Kirby

Former Collaborating Researcher

Peadar Kirby collaborated with UNRISD for the project Poverty Reduction and Policy Regimes (2007-2010) and the flagship report: Combating Poverty and Inequality (2006-2010), for the former, Kirby participated in the Methodological Workshop (2007) and authored a programme paper Explaining Ireland's Development: Economic Growth with Weakening Welfare (2008). At the time of his collaboration, Kirby was a Professor of International Politics and Public Policy at the University of Limerick, Ireland. He holds a PhD degree in the social sciences. He has published extensively on Ireland’s development experience.
