Miriam Abu Sharkh

Miriam Abu Sharkh collaborated with UNRISD on the flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality (2010) for which she wrote a background thematic paper, Financing Welfare Regimes: Mapping Heterogeneous Revenue Structures in collaboration with Ian Gough. At the time of this collaboration, Sharkh was a visiting scholar at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University.
Her research interests include labour related international human rights, especially child labour and (non-)discrimination, social movements and work satisfaction.
