Kristine Goulding

Former Research Analyst

Kristine joined UNRISD in 2010 to work with Shahra Razavi on projects of gender and development, specifically religion, politics and gender, employment and social protection, informal markets, the social economy of care, and women's economic and social rights.
Prior to joining UNRISD, Kristine worked on various projects related to gender quotas, women's political participation, human rights and authoritarianism at Lund University in Lund, Sweden. She has worked as a researcher at the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR) in affiliation with UN-INSTRAW (UN International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women) in Tunis, Tunisia, continuing the research she started during her period as a Fulbright scholar in Tunisia. She has an MSc in Development from Lund University (Sweden) and a BA in Political Science from Bates College (USA).
