Rafael Peels

Rafael Peels collaborated with UNRISD on the project, Potential and Limits of Social and Solidarity Economy, for which he wrote a think piece, Legal Frameworks on Social and Solidarity Economy: What is the Role of Civil Society Organizations in Policy Making?

At the time of his collaboration, Peels worked as a researcher for the Cooperative Branch of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva. Before that, he was employed by the Research Institute of Work and Society (HIVA) where he worked on non-state actor participation, international development cooperation, monitoring and evaluation, and social and solidarity economy.
