Natalia Foigt

Former Collaborating Researcher

Natalia Foigt collaborated with UNRISD for the project Ageing, Development and Social Protection, 2001-2003. At the time of her collaboration, she was a researcher at the Laboratory of Medical Demography of the Kiev Institute of Gerontology, where she studied the problems of population ageing, older population structure and trends, mortality and life expectancy, and ways of improving population policy for the elderly. She is the author of more than 20 scientific publications and of the volume entitled Life Expectancy at Old Age in Ukraine: Evolution, Current Status and Prognosis.
