Jaakko Kiander

Jaakko Kiander collaborated with UNRISD for projects on Social Policy in Late Industrializers: The Nordic Experience (2002- 2004); Poverty Reduction and Policy Regimes (2007-2010) and the flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality (2006-2010). Kiander was part of the Nordic Countries research team of the project Social Policy in Late Industrializers. For this project, he wrote a paper Growth and Employment in the Nordic Welfare States in the 1990s: Crisis and Revival. Kiander also participated in the Poverty Reduction and Policy Regines Methodological Workshop in 2007. At the time of his collaboration, Kiander was a member at the Government Institute for Economic Research, Finland.
