Cecilia Blondet

Former Collaborating Researcher

Cecilia Blondet collaborated with UNRISD for the project Gender Justice, Development and Rights, for which she authored a paper "Lecciones de la participación política de las mujeres", 2004.
At the time of her collaboration, Cecilia Blondet was Minister for the Advancement of Women and Human Development in Peru. Previously, she served as the General Director of the Instituto de Estudios Peruanos. She was a member of the board of directors of TRANSPARENCIA, a civil association created to oversee the electoral process in Peru. She was also a member of the Steering Committee of the Civil Society Project (Ford Foundation and the IDS-Sussex.). Since 1985 her main research area has been gender and politics, on which she has published widely.
