Amélie de Flaugergues

Former Intern

Amélie joined UNRISD in November 2006 and worked with Kléber Ghimire in the research program on Civil Society and Social Movements. Under the project on Social Responses to Inequalities and Policy Changes, she focused on the question of development aid in general and in France in particular.
She holds a masters in Social and Economic History combined with a minor in International Relations from Geneva University. Her masters dissertation examined Algerian women in France through political, demographic and social views. During her studies she participated in several associations within civil society.
