Jonathan Di John

Jonathan Di John collaboratUed with UNRISD on the flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality (2010) for which he wrote a background thematic paper, Fiscal Reforms, Developmental State Capacity and Poverty Reduction. At the time of this collaboration, Di John was a Senior Lecturer at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, United Kingdom.
His main areas of interest are the political economy of industrial policy in Latin America, particularly in Columbia and Venezuela, the political economy of taxation in sub-Saharan Africa and the role that taxation plays in economic development and patterns of governance.
