Ariel Casarin

Former Collaborating Researcher

Ariel Casarin collaborated with UNRISD for the project Commercialization, Privatization and Universal Access to Water, 2003-2004. for which he co-authored a paper How Far Does it Go? The Buenos Aires Water Concession a Decade after the Reform, 2007.
Casarin has a PhD in Economics and MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick, UK. and a MSc in Finance from the CEMA University in Argentina. At the time of his collaboration with UNRISD, he was Assistant Professor in Economics at IAE – Escuela de Dirección y Negocios, Universidad Austral in Argentina. He has also worked as a Consultant for WIDER in Helsinki, as well as regulatory institutions and firms.
