Carmen Diana Deere

Former Collaborating Researcher

Carmen Diana Deere collaborated with UNRISD for the projects Agrarian Change, Gender and Land Rights, from 2000 to 2002 and Policy Report on Gender and Development: 10 Years after Beijing, from 2003 to 2005, for which she authored an Occasional Paper The Feminization of Agriculture? Economic Restructuring in Rural Latin America, 2005.
At the time of her collaboration, Carmen was Professor and Director at the Center for Latin American, Caribbean and Latino Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Professor of Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida, Gainesville, United States.
