Diego Sánchez-Ancochea

Former Collaborating Researcher

Diego Sánchez-Ancochea collaborated with UNRISD on the project Poverty Reduction and Policy Regimes (2007-2010) for which he wrote a paper on Costa Rica’s Development since 1950: Between Success and Contradictions in a Small Economy as part of the country-level research team. At the time of this collaboration, Sánchez-Ancochea was University Lecturer in the Political Economy of Latin America at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. His research interests concentrate on state-society relations, income distribution and the impacts of outsourcing, with especial attention to small Latin American countries like Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
