Kate Ives

Former Research Assistant

Kate joined UNRISD in May 2004 to work on the "Business Responsibility for Sustainable Development" project in its final year. Research interests included new regulatory institutions, and economies that operate on notions of fairness, ethics and solidarity.

After completing her MSc in International Development at the University of Bath, UK in 2003, Kate worked as a Research Assistant for the New Academy of Business where she researched and edited company case studies and country reports for a UNDP funded project on Business-Community Relations in developing countries. She has also assisted the author Malcolm McIntosh with publications on the UN Global Compact.

Kate left UNRISD in May 2006.
