Joannah Caborn Wengler

Joannah joined UNRISD in November 2012, having previously worked in internal and external communications at CERN, an international science research facility. She has UN experience from her time at the ILO (International Labour Office), where she worked on a yearly global advocacy campaign, as well as providing workplace training to ILO constituents.

Joannah’s current responsibilities include writing, editing and producing communications materials. She coordinates blog series and news flow, and is responsible for UNRISD's two-monthly e-Bulletin.

Joannah has a Ph.D. in Sociolinguistics from Duisburg University, Germany, and undergraduate degrees from Durham and Bath Universities in the UK.
