Patricia Urteaga-Crovetto

Former Collaborating Researcher

Patricia Urteaga-Crovetto collaborated with UNRISD for the project Identity, Power and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, 2006-2008, participated in the consultation meetings and undertook a country case study for the project.
At the time of her collaboration, Patricia was a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, Lima, Peru. She holds a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. degrees in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. She has done research mainly on legal and political issues and indigenous peoples in Peru, focusing specially on legal pluralism, local law, extractive industries and natural resources.
