Jeremy Seekings

Jeremy Seekings collaborated with UNRISD for the project Poverty Reduction and Policy Regimes, 2007-2010. For which, he participated in the project's methodological Workshop in 2007 and coordinated the south African research. At the time of his collaboration, he was Professor of Politics and Sociology at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.Jeremy holds a DPhil degree in Politics. He has published extensively on social policies and politics in South Africa. His publications include Class, Race and Inequality in South Africa (co-authored); The UDF: The United Democratic Front in South Africa, 1983-1991; Welfare Reform in South Africa; and Households and Families in Southern Africa.
