Samuel McGlennon

Former Collaborating Researcher

Samuel McGlennon collaborated with UNRISD on the project Social Dimensions of Green Economy and Sustainable Development (2011-2012). For the project he spoke at the UNRISD conference on the issue held in October 2011.
At the time of his collaboration with UNRISD, he was a PhD student at the Fenner School of Environment and Society, Australian National University. His research interests relate primarily to the role of markets as drivers of environmental degradation, as well as the transformative potential and limitations of possible governance responses. He was previously a policy advisor with the Department of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet in Canberra, Australia.
