Adnan Hezri

Former Collaborating Researcher

Adnan Hezri collaborated with UNRISD on the project Social Dimensions of Green Economy and Sustainable Development (2011-2012). For the project he spoke at the UNRISD conference on the issue held in October 2011 and authored the occasional paper, "A Fair Green Economy? Studies of Agriculture, Energy and Waste Initiatives in Malaysia" (2011, No. 2).
At the time of his collaboration with UNRISD, he was a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Global Sustainability Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Senior Fellow at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia. He specializes in comparative environmental policy and was at the time serving as the national consultant for the Rio+20 process in Malaysia.
