Fred Hendricks

Former Collaborating Researcher

Fred Hendricks collaborated with UNRISD on the project on Pension Funds and Economic Development, for which he wrote a paper on The Private Affairs of Public Sector Pensions in South Africa: Debt, Development and Corporatization. At the time of this collaboration, he was at Rhodes University, South Africa.
Fred Hendricks was also part of the research team of the project on Social Policy in Late Industrializers: Sub-Saharan Africa and the Challenge of Social Policy 2002-2004. For this project, he wrote a programme paper, examining the role of social policy in the development process of Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
