Camila Arza

Camila Arza collaborated with UNRISD on the conference on the Social and Political Dimensions of the Global Crisis: Implications for Developing Countries (2009), and on the project Labour Market Informality, Social Policy and Gender (2011-2012). She authored a chapter entitled "Policy Change in Turbulent Times: The Nationalization of Private Pensions in Argentina" in UNRISD’s edited volume The Global Crisis and Transformative Social Change (2012), as well as a Programme Paper entitled Pension Reforms and Gender Equality in Latin America (2012).
At the time of her collaboration with UNRISD, Arza was a research fellow at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research and the Latin American School of Social Sciences, Argentina. She has her PhD from the London School of Economics (2004), and has taught at the London School of Economics, European University Institute and the University Pompeu Fabra

Her research has been published in the Journal of Economic History, Journal of Latin American Studies, World Development, International Social Security Review, as well as in books published by Oxford University Press, Elsevier and Routledge, among others.
