Diana Alarcón

Diana Alarcón collaborated with UNRISD on the project Social Dimensions of Green Economy and Sustainable Development (2011-2012). For the project she spoke at the UNRISD conference on the issue held in October 2011 and authored the think piece "Sustainable Agricultural Innovation Systems (SAIS) for Food Security and Environmental Protection".
At the time of her collaboration with UNRISD, she worked in the Development Policy and Analysis Division, United Nations Department for Economic and Social Affairs (DESA). She was part of the writing team for the World Economic and Social Survey and contributed to the 2011 edition, The Great Green Technological Transformation, with the chapter on innovation for food security.
