Alessandra Dal Secco

Former Research Assistant

Alessandra Dal Secco joined UNRISD in September 2003 to work mainly on the Institute's Policy Report on Gender and Development, a contribution to the 10th anniversary of the Beijing world summit. After completing her MSc. in Social Psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, she worked for an Italian NGO promoting women’s sexual and reproductive health rights in developing countries. At the time of her tenure, she also started a PhD at the University of Rome La Sapienza on institutional response to gender-based violence in Italy.
