Azzedine Layachi

Former Collaborating Researcher

Azzedine Layachi collaborated with UNRISD for the project Social Policy in Late Industrializers: Social Policy and Development Outcomes in the Middle East and North Africa 2002-2004. At the time of his collaboration with UNRISD, Layachi was Associate Professor at the International and Middle East Affairs Division of Social Sciences, St. John’s University, New York, USA. Within the project at UNRISD, Azzedine Layachi carried out a theoretical analysis of social policy and political regulation in the case of Algeria.
