Lucy Earle

Former Research Assistant

After completing an MA in Social Development at the Institute of Latin American Studies, University of London, Lucy moved to Rio de Janeiro, where she worked in the projects department of ActionAid Brasil. She left the cidade maravilhosain March 2002 to join UNRISD as a research assistant on the Civil Society and Social Movements Programme. She has conducted field research in Cuba for her MA thesis on the housing crisis in Havana and has worked and studied in Mexico and Chile. Lucy has also travelled extensively in the Middle East, South Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe and speaks Spanish, Portuguese and French.
