Elizabeth Cox

Former Collaborating Researcher

Elizabeth Cox collaborated with UNRISD for the project Mobilizing Revenues from Extractive Industries: Protecting and Promoting Children’s Rights and Well-Being in Resource-Rich Countries, as part of the research team for Papua New Guinea. At the time of her collaboration, she was an independent consultant working on issues related to gender equality, women's empowerment, child rights and protection, adult education and rural development. She previously also worked as Chief Technical Advisor as well as Director of the Pacific Regional Programme at UN Women Pacific Regional Office, as Researcher at UNICEF in Papua New Guinea and with Save the Children in Papua New Guinea and New Zealand.
