Janet C. Gornick collaborated with UNRISD on flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality (2010) for which she wrote a background thematic paper, Gender, Poverty, and Social Policy Regimes: A Comparative Analysis of Twenty-Four Upper-Income Countries, in collaboration with Markus Jäntti. At the time of this collaboration, Gornick was Professor of Political Science and Sociology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, United States.
