Vasudha Pangare
Former Collaborating Researcher
Vasudha Pangare collaborated with UNRISD for the project Commercialization, Privatization and Universal Access to Water from 2003 to 2004. For the project, he co-authored a draft paper An Assessment of Water Sector Reforms in the Indian Context: The Case of the State of Maharashtra. At the time of her collaboration, she was an expert in the area of social and institutional issues in the management of water resources.
Ms. Pangare has done consulting work for Oxfam, DFID, IFAD, Asian Development Bank, India-Canada Environment Facility, SIDA, International Water Management Institute, ICRISAT, Royal Netherlands Embassy, Winrock International India, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and NGOs such as SEWA and Grassroots.
Ms. Pangare is the editor of Water Perspectives, the journal of the World Water Institute. She has authored several publications and contributed articles and papers to books and journals.
