Simel Esim

Former Collaborating Researcher

Simel Esim collaborated with UNRISD for the project Potential and Limits of Social and Solidarity Economy from 2013 to 2014. In July 2013, she contributed a think piece for the project. At the time of her collaborated she was the Chief of the International Labour Office’s Cooperative Branch. Simel is a Turkish-American political economist, who has worked in social and economic development for 20 years.
The Collaborating Researcher spoke at the Sustainable Development Performance Indicators (SDPI) conference on 3-4 June 2019.
