Korinna Horta

Former Collaborating Researcher

Korinna Horta collaborated with UNRISD for the project Identity, Power and Rights for Indigenous Peoples, 2006-2008, for which she undertook a country case study on Chad-Cameroon.
At the time of her collaboration with UNRISD, she was a senior environmental economist in the international program of Environmental Defence, a U.S. non-profit organization. She holds a Ph.D. from the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London as well as degrees from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns-Hopkins-University in Washington, D.C. and the New University of Lisbon. A Yale University Stimson fellow, Korinna has written extensively on human rights, global environmental politics and international financial institutions.
