Bukola Salami

Former Collaborating Researcher

Bukola Salami presented her ongoing research on migrant nurses and care workers rights in Canada at an UNRISD workshop in September 2015. The workshop was jointly hosted with the Worldwide Universities Network, entitled "Addressing Multiple Forms of Migrant Precarity: Beyond 'Management' of Migration to an Integrated Rights-Based Approach". At the time of her collaboration she was an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Alberta. Her primary research interest is in the field of migration and health, where she seeks to bridge the gaps between immigration policy and health policy and practices.
