Anitra Nelson
Former Collaborating Researcher
Anitra Nelson collaborated with UNRISD for the project Potential and Limits of Social and Solidarity Economy (2012-2013). For the project she wrote a think piece, entitled "An Impossible Marriage: Solidarity Economy and Monetary Economy".
Nelson is an Associate Professor (Honorary), at the School of Global, Social and Urban Studies, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. She is a widely published social and environmental activist-scholar with research interests in sharing economies, non-market socialism and sustainability. Recently she edited and contributed three chapters to Life Without Money: Building Fair and Sustainable Economies.
