Ann Morissens

Ann Morissens collaborated with UNRISD on the flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality (2010) for which she wrote a background thematic paper, Migration, Welfare States and the Incorporation of Migrants in Different Welfare Regimes. At the time of this collaboration, Morissens was senior research associate at the Higher Institute for Labour Studies, University of Leuven, the Netherlands.
Morissens is interested in research dealing with migration and its policies and outcomes using a comparative approach. She also deals with research themes related to poverty and inequality and outcomes for groups at risk (the unemployed, migrants, solo mothers) in different welfare regimes.
