Olivier Giovannoni

Olivier Giovannoni collaborated with UNRISD on the flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality (2010) for which he wrote a background thematic paper, Functional Distribution of Income and the Incidence of Poverty: Stylized Facts and the Role of Macroeconomic Policy. At the time of this collaboration, Giovannoni was a visiting lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin, United States.
His main areas of interest are macroeconomic performance and policy (economic growth, international comparisons), international and monetary economics/policy and labour markets (income distribution and unemployment).
