Jordi Vaqué

In May 2012 Jordi Vaqué joined UNRISD’s Communications and Outreach Unit to assist Jenifer Freedman with the current communication strategy.

Jordi holds a Degree in Journalism and a MA in Culture Policy and Management from the University of Barcelona, with brief residencies in London and Santiago de Cali (Colombia). His final thesis was based on the Cultural Industries Project of Cali, aiming to increase the level of economic and social welfare by developing the cultural and creative resources of the city.

Prior to joining UNRISD, Jordi worked at the Society and Culture Foundation in Barcelona (Spain), where he designed and coordinated the Communications Strategy of several artistic and cultural events.
