Michela Giovannini

Former Collaborating Researcher

"Michela Giovannini is a Marie Sklodowska Curie fellow at the Centre for Social Studies (CES) at the University of Coimbra (Portugal). She holds a PhD in Local Development and Global Dynamics from the University of Trento (Italy, 2014). Her research work and research interests focus on social and solidarity-economy organizations in Latin America and Europe, the political dimension of solidarity-economy organizations in Spain and Portugal, indigenous socio-economic initiatives, social movements and community development. The Collaborating Researcher participated in the Call for Papers ""Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals: What Role for Social and Solidarity Economy?"" which was launched by the United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE) in 2018 and organized by UNRISD."
