Kelly O'Neill, a social development researcher and planner, worked on the Business Responsibility for Sustainable Development project at UNRISD from October 1997 to December 1998. Under this project, she was commissioned to write the UNRISD Discussion Paper,
Internetworking for Social Change: Keeping the Spotlight on Corporate Responsibility. Her paper also served to complement UNRISD research on Information Technologies for Social Development.
Kelly returned to UNRISD from June to December 1999 to assist UNRISD research on gender. She contributed to the organization of the UNRISD conference Gender Justice, Development and Rights, and provided research assistance for the project on Gender, Poverty and Well-Being.
