Abdul Raufu Mustapha

Abdul Raufu Mustapha collaborated with UNRISD for the project Ethnic Structure, Inequality and Governance of the Public Sector (2002-2005), for which he authored a paper Ethnic Structure, Inequality and Governance of the Public Sector in Nigeria (2006). At the time of his collaboration, Mustapha was a Lecturer in African Politics and Kirk Green Fellow, St. Antony’s College, Oxford University. He previously taught political sciences at the Ahmadu Bello Univeristy in Nigeria. His research interests include: Rural Politics in Africa; Ethnicity and Identity Politics in Africa; Politics of Democratization in Africa; and Nigerian Politics.
