Anna Sagan

Anna joined UNRISD in November 2006 and worked with Naren Prasad on two UNRISD programme areas: Markets, Business and Regulation and Social Policy and Development. In particular, she focused her research on the privatization and social policies in the water sector as well as on the construction of the Social Policy Index.
Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, combined with minors in Political Science and Economic Law, from the University of Berne (Switzerland) and a master’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (United Kingdom).

Prior to joining UNRISD, Anna worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Berne.
