Samyuktha Rajagopal

Former Intern

Samyuktha Rajagopal worked at UNRISD from April to June 2008 for Peter Utting and Daniela Barrier on the 'Social Responses to Inequality and Policy Changes' and 'Negotiating Alternative Trade Regimes in Latin America' projects.
She graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science in December 2007 with an MSc in Development Studies as a Commonwealth Scholar from India. She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Madras in India. Her Master's dissertation examined the role of caste-based reservation in creating transformative outcomes for India's marginalized caste groups.

Before commencing her Master degree, she worked on the editorial team at Frontline, a political fortnightly published by The Hindu Group of Publications in India.
