Rana Jawad

Rana Jawad collaborated with UNRISD for the project inception workshop for New Directions in Social Policy, 2014. For the workshop, she wrote the draft paper "Social Protection in MENA: Emerging Trends" and was a speaker at the UNRISD Seminar Series/UNOG Library Talk, "New Directions in Social Policy: Towards a Post-2015 Agenda", April 2014. She is also a collaborating researcher for the New Directions project.
At the time of her collaboration, Rana Jawad is a Lecturer in social policy specialising in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at the University of Bath, and is the founder of the MENA Social Policy Network.
