Colin Crouch

Colin Crouch collaborated with UNRISD on the flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality (2010) for which he wrote two background thematic papers, Varieties of Governance and Social Development and CSR; and Changing Modes of Governance: Towards Corporate Noblesse Oblige? At the time of this collaboration, Crouch was Professor of Governance and Public Management in the University of Warwick Business School.
Prior to this, Crouch held lecturing posts in sociology at the London School of Economics, University of Bath and Oxford University. He was subsequently Professor of Sociology and chaired the Department of Political Science at the European University Institute of Florence from 1995 to 2004. His main research fields are comparative European sociology and industrial relations, economic sociology, and contemporary issues in British and European politics.
