Benjamin R. Quiñones

Former Collaborating Researcher

Benjamin R. Quiñones collaborated with UNRISD for the project Potential and Limits of Social and Solidarity Economy. For the project he wrote a think piece, entitled "Are Mental Models Shaping SSE Reality? Conceptualizing, Measuring and Evaluating SSE Performance". In May 2015, he participated in the UNRISD workshop on Social and Solidarity Finance: Tensions, Opportunities and Transformative Potential, where he was a speaker.
At the time of his collaboration, Quiñones was Chairman of the Asian Solidarity Economy Council, Philippines. He was also Executive Coordinator at the Intercontinental Network for the Promotion of Social and Solidarity Economy.

Quiñones has a PhD in Organization Development (OD), Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute. He has been the Founder and Convenor, Asian Solidarity Economy Forum and Coordinator for the Professional Group on Solidarity Economy, Global Forum on Ethics and Responsibility.
