Parashar Kulkarni collaborated with UNRISD on the flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality (2010) for which he wrote a background thematic paper, Impact of the GATS on Basic Social Services Redux. At the time of this collaboration, Kulkarni was working with the Centre for Trade and Development, India.
His research areas are political economy, experimental methods, political economy of regulation and political strategy for advocacy.
