Uzma Hashmi

Former Research Assistant

Uzma Hashmi assisted Krishna Ghimire on his project “Grassroots Movements and Initiatives for Land Reform" in her capacity as Research Assistant at UNRISD from 1997 to 1999. She helped the project leader to co-ordinate a global questionnaire survey on the civil society initiative for land reform. She also contributed to the preparation of the volume edited by Krishna Ghimire, entitled: Land Reform and Peasant Livelihoods: The Social Dynamics of Rural Poverty and Agrarian Reform in Developing Countries, published by ITDG Publishing in 2001.
