Bob Jessop

Bob Jessop has collaborated with UNRISD on several occasions, lastly on the project Social Dimensions of Green Economy and Sustainable Development (2011-2012). For the project he spoke at the conference and authored the article Economic and Ecological Crises: Green new deals and no-growth economies in Development (Volume 55, Number 1).
At the time of his collaboration with UNRISD, he was Distinguished Professor of Sociology at Lancaster University. He works mainly in the field of critical political economy and holds a Professorial Research Fellowship in the Cultural Political Economy of the Global Financial Crisis.
