José Delfino
Former Collaborating Researcher
Prof. Delfino collaborated with UNRISD for the project Commercialization, Privatization and Universal Access to Water, 2003-2004, for which he co-authored a programme paper in 2007.
José Delfino obtained a PhD in Economics at the National University of Cordoba, Argentina, where he is Professor of Microeconomics. At the time of his collaboration with UNRISD, he was a Visiting Professor of Economics of Education at the Institute Torcuato Di Tella, and Professor in the Masters' programme of Public Policies at the Interamerican Development Bank in Buenos Aires.
Author, co-author and editor of several books, Prof. Delfino has contributed many papers published in journals such as Economica (La Plata, Argentina), Cuadernos de Economías (University of Barcelona), El Trimestre Económico (México) and Cuadernos de Economía (Catholic University of Chile). Prof. Delfino is a member of the Center for Latin American Economics (Texas, USA), The Econometric Society (London) and the Argentinean Association of Political Economy.
