Maznah Mohamad

Former Collaborating Researcher

Maznah Mohamad collaborated with UNRISD for the project Gender Justice, Development and Rights from 2000 to 2002. At the time of her collaboration, she was the 2001 Visiting Chair in ASEAN and International Studies at the Munk Centre for International Studies, University of Toronto.
Her publications include, Muslim Women and Access to Justice: Historical, Legal and Social Experience in Malaysia,editor, Penang: WDC, 2000 and “At the Centre and Periphery: Contributions of Women's Movements to Democratisation”, in Loh and Khoo, eds. Discourses and Practices of Democracy in Malaysia,Curzon Press, 2001.
